one night i started jotting down a few poems on here and someone said to me why dont i start a blog. so i did.
its more or less stuff i have already posted here but i plan to add to it as the mood takes me
the stuff on there at the moment needs tweaking and stuff. but it is the result of stuff coming straight into my head as i typed it. but perhaps i'll go back and smarten it all up at some point.
i've been thinking how some of them might rap quite well. i dont think i can rap really. but maybe someone out there can. but then do men rap stuff written by women? or is that a bit embarassing?
they say that women have a hard time in the music industry. i wonder why exactly. the only thing i can garner from this is that there are a lot of male chauvinistic **** pigs in the music industry. but i might be wrong of course. i wonder why.
i was at this music industry networking thing the other evening. someone said his wife had met chrissie hynde on a plane one day. i mean aeroplane. not a cosmic plane. anyway, apparently chrissie was an 'arse' (in his words). but who the hell would i be to take one person's take on chrissie hynde after one chance meeting on an aeroplane?
so i've also heard that madonna is a bitch to work with/for.
so i said 'isn't it hard for women in the music industry and maybe they find they have to be a certain way to get on'
and the guy i was talking to from Wang CHung agreed its hard for women.
so my poems are a bit of a mess. but personally i still think they're brilliant. that's why i put them in a blog. i'm not expecting the vast majority of people to get them. only a few.
so it is my dream that my poems get rapped. once i've tidied them up a bit.
i've got a video of me reciting one of my poems on the blog. i'm not sure what happened to my accent in that. and it' a bit kind of weird in places. i reckon i could recite it much better than that. maybe i'll give it a go one day. it would be good to know it off by heart. and maybe look straight into camera. maybe bring a bit of theatrics into it. yes how briliant.
but i look quite glamorous which is absolutely the main thing of course haha
well busy week coming up
