Quality of this is great. Bob laments the UK decision to leave the EU at the start of Banana Republic. Marvellous rendition of Someones Looking At You, although we start at a very good position with that song.
This is a proper broadcast quality recording, great camera work and audience shots. I think it was the night after the Coventry Godiva Festival gig which I was at, and which was very good. As far as I can see they are getting big crowds and Geldof's voice is in good shape (if a voice can be in shape!)
Most likely they will tour and promote the new album as they never seem to do things in half measures. A pretty remarkable band.
Also great to see some direct engagement on their Facebook page ie Bob apologizing for having to reschedule the Sligo gig and a Bob Garry Pete and Simon short promo of the Wexford gig.

Hi Noel, Vienna gig was the weekend before Godiva, on 25th June, straight after the referendum results had come in the day before. Godiva was 1st July. But you're right about band being on top form over that period.

See you in Wexford on 28 October, that is if you're going.
Bob seems to be in great form judging by this recent-clip from Gibraltar:
I will be in Wexford. Look forward to seeing you there
Same here. Should be a good one as Wexford is a bit off the beaten track and the locals will be glad to see some proper rock 'n' roll legends come to town.
