Geldof interview in newspaper TODAY

Just received something which says there is an interview with Bob in the Independent today. If I find a link I'll post it later, in the meantime just an advanced warning so you can go and get your copy

No clues as to what it is about...

Maybe I ought to read ALL my emails first before hastily saying I have no link:

Hmm - he hates the internet but it is a major part of his business He certainly knows how to use it.

Sorry, I didn't realise they were the same link.

It would be really, really nice if you could put a tiny bit about the article in your post to tickle our taste buds and warn us of duplicates

He reckons he's going to sell out, does he?  I think it would be amazing as well.  He cancelled a load in the UK due to poor ticket sales.  If that is the the thing he likes doing absolutely best in the world, why doesn't he do it in smaller venues he might fill?

Geldof keeps going at the music because that is what he does. "After 31 years I'll sell out all those gigs (in the Middle East and Australia) which is amazing and the thing I like doing absolutely best in the world is playing live with that band on stage. I don't have to think. It's totally effortless and I feel completely at home."

One minute he is quoted as saying he hopes more than 300 people will turn up, (Sydney M.H.) and the next he is quoted as saying it will be a sell out. Who knows what he actually said? Somewhere in between, I think.

Well it could either be the reporters doing their usual misquoting/misinterpreting or Bob speaking as he feels at the time. Or even a mix of both!!

How big is the venue? I've often heard Bob speak like that but I think he is joking most of the time
