Great, thanks for highlighting this. However, how can they play the single? I know things have changed since 78, but pus and grime had to be sanitised for radio consumption to blood and dirt etc so what are they going to do about sh*t?

You will enjoy it Mike. Snippets of Rat Trap, She's so Modern and Looking after No.1 and of course Trash Glam Baby, which sounded great on the radio.

Also the cool shirts he goes shopping for in the charity shops with 16 year old girls staffing them.
i) Has anyone got a photograph of Geldof in a remotely cool shirt?
ii) Have you ever been served by anyone younger than you in a charity shop? I am in my mid-50s and it never happens to me.

I can count 7 solo sortof deep in the heart ,veg, happy. Sex age, how to and I suppose you could count sad2 and live target ( limited edition from bobs site) my local charity shop is manned(sorry political correctness )staffed by 3teens. But hey it's irrelevant just glad bob is out here promoting trash glam etc

Seven (7)  is a stretch as neither SAD2 nor Live Target were generally released.

Everyone serving at our local charity shops is older than my mum and dad.  Sadly some younger twonk at Oxfam (probably my age) prices the LPs after looking at unrealistic prices on eBay.  He did fcuk up with a Horrors LP recently which I got for £5, but generally the asking prices are so ridiculous the records don't shift.  Cheaper to buy new. Used to get loads of bargains when they opened.

Agree, the now numerous charity shops in Crewe are overwhelmingly serviced by golden agers!

I think the teens in my local st Giles hospice might have been pressganged thy don't seem to want to be there as for 7albums I agree they were not all in general circulation but I think they sometimes embellished details in all areas of media and enter

If they were all staffed by 16 year olds, I mean how could you have an adult conversation without talking about trash glam nation?!

Sh*t seemed to be changed to sick on the Steve Wright show airing. As I understand it, a sick Saturday night would be a good night, so this changes things completely! The last four lines were not played so not sure if this was an in house radio station edit or there are 2 versions of this single.

Interesting alternative. My limited understanding of latest vernacular is same as yours.

Wonder if sh!te would have been deemed acceptable on radio etc? Does seem to be treated as a milder form of expletive

I think it would still be an issue for Radio 2. Hoping this makes the Radio 2 playlist. U2 and Deacon Blue have done so, the A list at that, and they're singles are not a patch on Trash Glam Baby.
