Great b side. Never shortchanged by the Rats on b sides.
Except maybe when their b side was a track from the album already bought.
Apart from Someone's Looking/When The Night Comes can't think of other singles with album tracks as b-sides. Well the Irish single Go Man Go must have had a track from Mondo Bongo?

* - D.U.N. L.A.O.G.H.A.I.R.E. was the B-side to Like Clockwork in Ireland, but released as a cover mount Flexi Disc in the UK
** - 12" Only
In the US, I Don't Like Mondays was their ONLY hit! If you can call number 73 a hit. It entered on 2nd February 1980 and peaked at 73 after entering at 91.
Those were the 3 examples I was thinking of. But now you've reminded me, Never in a Million Years was another instance of cheap repetition appearing as the b side to A Hold of Me and outclassing it in the process.
I once saw album tracks as b sides advertised as an opportunity for those who haven't got the album, to sample the wares. Could work I suppose in a few cases.

Agree here. Same with in the long grass. 6 songs of this album 4 singles and 2 of them b sides. So buying an album Judt to get 4 other songs really. Never did like that happening to any band. But that's record companys for you
Born to burn . Real different. Man at the top. Lying again. How do you do.. Walking down town. Hard times.( Should have been a single). Do the rat. Europe looked ulgy. Late last night. In my opinion all great B sides. Some of the above also could have been A sides.
