Maybe someone can get link working. I copied link address to clipboard then pasted it to forum. Otherwise just Google Geldof Paste magazine.
A thousand copies of Trash Glam Baby have been pressed so vinyl release should be soon.
Yes, very interesting. Bit daft at times, but entertaining. The idea that people didn't know what Mondays was about with him having told everyone about it since 1979 beggars belief!
Still with the seven solo albums...
... no wonder he was close to choking after saying that!

I'm always amazed at how he claims the Rats were political and changed Irish society. Apart from Banana Republic can't think of any political songs.
Geldof wanted to be rich, famous and get laid. Dont ever remember him campaigning for more liberal abortion laws, Gay rights etc .From 1977-85 Geldof did a lot of swanning around as rock star rather than an activist.
He was never part of Red Wedge, nor seemed to have any socialist type of views. He keeps going on about changing Irish society but I dont really see much he had done directly.
In fact the notion that music can change society is total nonsense. Anti war songs never really stopped any war eg Vietnam, Northern Ireland, Gulf wars etc
His real talent is being a good character observer, I mean in relation to his songwriting. Sex Pistols changed nothing either, despite Geldofs fawning praise.

Agree. Geldof is entertaining and spins a good yarn, but the truth isn't his forte. Though to be fair he is right when he says authorities are authoritarian! Loved the way he mentioned Billie Ellish to show how modern he is. So 21st Century. I had to resort to google, no fcuking idea!
Anyway off to knock on my neighbour's door, enough cyber w@nking for one day. That written, my neighbour is a total cnut so he can fcuk off!
