Tour date cancellations?

Given the book signings are off and the Croatia gig postponed. Also I noted Brighton date is not on Geldof Facebook page.

i dont suppose interwebular communications will ever inform us of these things.

Also looks like football will be behind closed doors...

While the 3pm television blackout will still be observed on Saturdays with officials worried about setting a precedent that would remove the protected slot matches look set to be moved from that time period and live streamed instead. All Premier League season ticket holders, and individual match ticket holders, will be able to stream the games live from their homes.

... not too happy about this. Hope it isn't a ruse to not give me a refund for the 2 pairs of tickets I have bought for Arsenal.  Not to mention my Wembley group booking for 9 in May...

Glasgow is definitely off. I am assuming over 500 tickets have been sold.

Scotland bans mass gatherings of 500 or more in fight against coronavirus

Football fans far more likely to catch corona virus in pubs and clubs than out in the fresh air.

That's what my mate said the other day!  So we sat in the corner out of the way of everyone.  Also might start to drink bottles rather than pints. That is if I ever leave the house.

GAA cancelled for next three weeks. Things are getting really serious now. My Limerick/Cork trip in June may not happen!

I havent been outside since Sunday. And even then it was only a car ride to drop son off at coach station.

Was at football last Saturday and in pub afterwards.  But they didnt let the Neanderthals in, so I reckon I will be fine.

The thing is every morning when I wake up, I feel so bad I think I do have coronavirus. But truth be told, that is how I have felt for the last 8 years or so!

Anyway I will venture out tomorrow to see Bryan Ferry.  And then self isolate ahead of Brighton.

So speaks a man in his 50s, I empathise!

You will be ok from Saturday. Any corona virus infection or a Saturday night, will be producing symptoms by Thursday night. Therefore any infection on a Monday night will bring (another) sh*t Saturday night and so on.

Arsenal manager has tested positive for coronavirus.  I was less than 40 metres away from him on Saturday!

so if as expected the mass gathering is confirmed and flights are cancelled, my 4 weeks unpaid leave this summer looks like the stupidest decision I ever made.  There I was imagining sipping Pina Coladas by the pool watching Euro 2020  for a month.  Pah!

Coronavirus and the decisions made because of it are making fools of us all. They will say better that than making corpses of us all. How relevant do the lyrics to In The Pouring Rain sound today? Timless lyrics as he keeps (correctly) boasting.

Pity those people who had to turn around in mid flight on the way to Spain. Not sure if I will be going to Brighton.  Part major disappointment with album and uncertainty about gig even going ahead. Good chance gigs will be postponed.

Lots of things in Ireland are closed eg museums, schools/college,libraries, no GAA, rugby, League of Ireland,no f***ing government even formed. It's the end of the world as we know it.cry

You might have to down those pins Colados in a bar called O'Malleys, rather than by the pool in sunnier climes.smile

I ain't going near any bars!  You just reminded me I booked a couple of days off work to go to Brighton as well.  Have to take the days off regardless as vacation resets at end of March.  What to do on those days now?

Not sure how long this will last for.  Assuming it will be about 3-4 months, next time I will be going out is my trip to see The Divine Comedy in September.  Anyway, lots of box sets to watch on Now TV entertainment from my bunker...

Definitely not gonna happen.

No Ocado delivery today - cancelled

Broadband kaput.

TV gone.

Landline unusable.

All I have left is my mobile phone...

Frustrating. Why have Ocado cancelled? Can you get the broadband provider to sort?

Ocado had operational issues, and told me to rebook.  Only problem is no delivery slots for 8 days.

As for Virgin Media, it is par for the course.  The remote tv app stopped working properly in January, the phone line went crackly in February and apparently someone came to fix it when I stayed off in the afternoon, but couldn't gain access.  A lie because I was sat in all afternoon looking out the window.  And last night the broadband and TV went off.  Area wide outage.  So just have to suck it up until they can be ar$ed to fix it.

Brighton may get rescheduled as it wasn't too far off capacity.
