Dont think I ever stopped buying LPs. In fact, my last three proper new purchases are LPs; Citizens by Rats , WHO by The Who, Together by Vapors.
Also throw in Who at Hyde Park, Bowie - Glastonbury and Arctic Monkeys - Tranquility Base on vinyl. Along with blur at the beeb, Best Friends Girl by The Cars, Lookin after No. 1 and Vegetarians of Love.
The only CDs I have bought are Bowie related. Lazarus, Hours and The Next Day because they were dirt cheap on eBay. I keep bidding on heathen, but keep getting outbid.
The odd thing is that when CDs were popular, vinyl was selling for £3 or less, so I bought vinyl rather than the CD. If the charity shops were open I would buy the 50p/£1 CDs as I was doing earlier this year. Still cant believe I bought a fake Neon Bible though...
I still buy cd (all my Joe Jackson are on cd)but but rats on both formats bought vapors new album on CD and preordered psychedelic furs new CD but I would buy any rats geldof stuff on l.p. As well as CD certain albums only done on CD (prime example rats live2013)
