At about 1:14, there is talk of 8 new Rats songs, 6 of which Pete and Bob worked up last week into a fit state. He cant see the festivals happening and doesnt want to tour as he thinks its worthless now. Wants to play the Palladium though.

I suspect the festivals will happen.  Especially those in August.  And if they dont, London Palladium wont either, despite what Lloyd Webber thinks.

Not too surprise, there is another LPs worth of material that will be released just ahead of the Palladium gig

Agree on the new album, but not the festivals. I think we are locked into a spiral of pesky variants and associated Government reactions which some will feel fully warranted and others will feel are overly cautious. Caution will win, to some extent because of the all too pervasive health and safety culture that many feel stifles life in a disproportinate manner.

In one sense, I hope I am completely wrong.

There will be a 4 week delay and then everything will open for the summer.  Depends on how many get hospitalised as to whether or not there are future restrictions.  Most of those who are 50+ have had 2 jabs and have antibodies.  So enjoy August and September.  I suspect Palladium gig will happen.
