Just a couple of days to go, before I go to see Bob in Belgium, where he’s playing at the peace-festival in Diksmuide next Friday! I didn’t allow myself to get too excited until now, because of the cancellations of last year... But now there’s only 5 days to go, and I’m really looking forward to it.
The Belgian media are giving it good coverage, there’s an interview in the largest TV magazine this week, and tonight a half-hour program on national TV (Canvas, 22:35, but I don’t think any of you guys can receive that channel ). I hope that will sell some more tickets.
I will try to get a meeting and a picture this time... I’ve tried that a couple of times before, but I wasn’t really successful so far... He did sign a CD for me, back in 1996, but that “meeting” lasted only 3 seconds or so. So, wish me luck!
I will post a review, a setlist and hopefully some pictures a.s.a.p.
Good luck Joke with your attempts to meet Bob. I hope you're successful this time.
Oh I wish I could be there with you. A rather envious Jules here - but still looking forward to hearing all about it. What else is happening at the festival? Is Bob doing a big set?
It's been 6 months since I saw Bob and I'm feeling it
So have I. But I'm not sure if I can go!!! Can you believe it. I did express a preference for Saturday 22nd - hmm, will have to try and take half day at work and fly out that afternoon...
Wow Reka that's great! Is Milan far from where you live? That's probably for you the first time you will see Bob. I'm sure you will enjoy every second of it!
I'm actually going to see Bob in Siegen next Monday! I'm looking forward to it and will post a review and setlist afterwards.
Does anyone know which airport is nearest to the Arena, or what district the arena is in? I'm trying to check out to see if it is feasible for me to go! There are some very expensive flights out there and some take 4 hours others 1 hr 55 mins (direct flights)???

Dream on girl, if only... Sounds like you will be having a great summer of concerts though. At the min I've only 2 left, Billy Joel & The Beautiful South but I'm sure I'll add on a few more..

I saw the Beautiful South last year, 2 days before U2 and a few weeks before Live8 - now you know why I crave lots of gigs together. Anyway they were excellent, you'll love them. They were doing a forest tour last year - did you go? It was a lovely setting.
Congrats to all the people who won tickets for Italy.Have a good trip.I have just heard Bob might be coming to Denmark.Bob PLEASE COME TO DENMARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Just had notification about my tickets for Rome. It was written in Italian and I guessed what it said, but I translated it online. The translation is quite amusing:
Hello I am Sea of the musicliveclub, for the withdrawal of the cards that you won presented the evening of the show of Milan either Rome to the main entrance asking for Sea Falconieri or of Gianni or Francesco Iacovone that we are the organizers. To soon I wait yourselves numerous.
