Looking through other best of 1978 lists on www, none of them have A Tonic For The Troops listed. Back in the day it was a big selling popular LP spending almost a year in the charts. Everyone I know who has heard it has told me it is one of their favourite LPs. Criminally overlooked in recent years. There are far lesser albums of the era that are lauded.

Excellent, love both albums. Nice to hear Me and Howard Hughes the other Sunday on Simon Mayo's album show when 78 was the featured year.

Good to see Queen's excellent Jazz album make the 25. Their Bohemian rhapsody hit was the most popular in the top top 500. Don't Stop me now, taken from Jazz, was at 38.
