Well I've been back about 30 mins. It was a good talk, based on Bob's book and TV series - get yourself a copy if you haven't already. He was asked a few questions, which he answered, in a very lengthy manner (what's new). Howard thought he wasn't going to answer the questions as it must have been 10 minutes before he got back to the original talk. He talked about where it all began for him, what LiveAid and Live8 did and his experiences of his travels in Africa.

There was a book signing afterward. I hadn't taken either copy of my book, or my DVDs, so I took my ticket. The books were selling like hot cakes (pity his music can't sell like that ). He was getting through everyone very speedily, so no time to chat. When I got to my turn, I quickly said I'd left my books at home. Then I said 'Milan was great'. He looked up, a bit surprised, and said 'thanks very much'. I then asked him if he remembered me, he said 'yeah', giving me one of those wonderful smiles again. I'm sure if he was being polite or he really did.

I took a photo, but was told to stop. I also recorded nearly 5 minutes of it, it is probably very poor, but I'll upload it all later on.

I forgot to say - there was a question and answers session. I put my hand up, but didn't get a chance.

That leather jacket made a reappearance tonight. He was looking good again, but it sounded as though he had a slight cold.

It would be worth it just for THAT smile. And the leather jacket. What a combination.

You could see him again?!

I think I will move to England for a year or two.

Ther is no chance of meeting Bob here in Hungary, but in London there is 60% or more.

Hi Reka,

"If you don't want to register I can e-mail you the photos."

That would be great.  My computer is for business and I have blocks on downloading pictures off certain websites - can't go to some sites at all.  I would appreciate the pictires.  Send to loshora@msn.com.  Thank you, again.

Hi Crazy,

I also purchased the hard cover bok of Bob's trip and have read it three times to date. I also have the DVD of the BBC series and the CD of Sir Bob reading his book - which is especially nice as you can listen to him say "f**K" a lot!  HA!  I agree - the pictures are excellant.

Read page 288 for ectasy experience!  Comments blew me away regarding the hot, humid, steamy jungle and wanting a girl - NOW!

My July 15th send:

"I will post something tomorrow on Amazon, as I am just finishing the book today.  So far, I find his writings excellant and the book is written in an unusual style, which I really liked, as SBG writes about his time in Africa through unique stories and beautiful pictures (lots of africian history) - not all that are his (pictures), but many are.  Pages 224 - 226 about "Little Killers" I found especially well written, yet sad.  Pages 230 - 231 are some headlines that SBG reports on - nice expressive writing style of putting these newspaper headlines in the content of the book.  Funny!  Good historical information given throughout for several regions of Africa, most of which I had either forgotten or did not even know.  "Sexy Jungle" on page 288 I found made my breathing become labored!  Wish I was the girl he was thinking about...   I quote SBG:

"...locked away inside this dense, sexy hothouse of mad, wild, verdant fertility and abandon.  I wish I had a girl here.  I want to do it too. Now."  WHEW!  Me, too!  But only with you, Bob!  Man!"

O'Shora (away now, taking cold shower...)

Bob can get one hot at times!  O'Shora

Tell me about it Oshora, that smile! That leather jacket, him...

Reka, could you email the photos to me? Thanks.

Did anyone get the Times yesterday? They were sponsoring the festival and I thought they might have had a piece in there yesterday. I forgot to buy it. Of course, they may wait until the entire festival is over and do a round up.

Thank you for the photos, Reka.  They were really nice ones.  Wish I could of attended that signing.

I know - the writing across the pictures is a safeguard, so no big deal!  You can work around this by manipulating the photo and edit above the writing.  That's the best I could do.  Not interested in stealing anybodies copy writted photos.  Just want a good clean pic of Sir Bob.  He looks so natural with his grey hair - this hair cut and color I do like!  Really just him - I like it.

Yes, Jules - nice leather jacket!  He looks really attractive and relaxed.  Happy.

Thank you again!
