I've done 2 Rats cover versions which I hope to release during 2007.

Today (my birthday) I went to a store to check out some studio monitors as I need some pro ones to mix the tracks. The shop assistant plugged in his ipod and used Mondays and Looking After Number One to demonstrate the monitors. Not the same 2 Rats tracks as I have done, but still that's a really weird coincidence!

Which tracks are you doing and when are you going to release them? And where?

It's good to hear that they chose 2 Rats tracks at the record shop! Most unusual!

For a cover version of I dont like Mondays, check out this guy , who I think won a talent show. Does not say much for the others! Actually he is not too bad. Hope it is not anybody here. If it is, you were amazing.

Can't say which 2 songs but I've done them in a completely different way to the originals. About 2 months of work has gone into them so far.

One is an instrumental because I didn't sound right when singing it. I might try and find someone who could sing it, but it still sounds good to me as an instrumental. My brother thought it was a Gary Numan remix.

I sing on the other one, my wife thought it was Primal Scream from their Screamadelica album and didn't realise it was me singing. I'm tempted to ask one or more of the Rats if they would play on it.

The guy in the store demo'ing the monitors had 100's of songs on his ipod, but selected 2 Rats songs. The good thing was that with the studio monitors I could hear stuff in the songs that I had not heard before.

It would be 900 quid for the monitors. If Bob is reading this, perhaps he will lend me a pair?

Slightly more recent, and apologies if already posted

The Score? For me about 7/10. Not a bad effort at all.
