I hope everyone in this part of the world is surviving the storms?
7 people have died, including a 2 year old boy. The roads are in chaos and there is considerable damage to property. All seems to be in order around here, as far as I'm aware.
I could hear the wind in my office today, it sounded as though it was going to take the roof off.
I'm on nights in work & its a big factory with less than 10 of us working on nights . It got a bit scary during the week. Thankfully I'm off for the weekend. Its pretty wild here at the moment. We might have snow later if the forecast is anything to go by.

It is pretty grim when it the wind is up. It's been sunny here today and I actually saw a rainbow. Would have been lovely if everything wasn't blowing so much!
More than 10 people died in those storms on Thursday
I'm sorry to hear about the storms you are having. I know how dangerous the wintertime weather can be.
Keep safe everyone. The weather has been to strange this year; we haven't had any blizzards at all this year.
peace & take care,
debm

Now we have the snow and ice to contend with. My car was completely iced over this morning. When I got in it and started it there is a warning that flashes on the dashboard that says "risk of ice"!! Do I really need to be told that? Am I that stupid!!
Kennesaw, Georgia got mild snow yesterday and today! Ice warnings from midnight thru 3 p.m. yesterday - Atlanta airport closed Wednesday. Yikes! This does not sound like the "South" to me. Just below Georgia is Florida where the temperatures are in the 80's! Send me some global warming! My dogs slid on the ice on our deck when I let them out yesterday morning - after that, they did not want to go outside all day! I had to carry each of them down 13 steps of stairs to the lawn where they could poop and pee...crazy dogs!
I have a girlfriend who is in London visiting a friend there. She emailed me about all the wind and how cold it was last week.
