Loved the way he just ambled around the stage, chilling out at the back, colliding with Geldof and just shrugging it off. Was all over the stage, left to right, no hiding behind the mike. he doesn't have the frenetic Wilco Johnson-esque pace of old, but a real cool dude.

Went to the gig not really expecting much but have to confess it was brilliant. Band played a full 2 hours from just after 8pm and got called for a second encore. Crowd was around 350 I'd guess and spent the last 45 minutes all standing, which is saying something for the normally reserved if not bordering...
